Arashiyama has been loved by emperors and aristocrats since the Heian period (794-1192), and offers beautiful scenery from season to season. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of bamboo groves, the Togetsu Bridge, and numerous atmospheric temples and shrines, where history and nature are in harmony, in a relaxing rickshaw ride.
